Look at this face! You're tell me that she is not cute enough for the Olympics' opening ceremony? Her voice is obviously good enough to sing China's national anthem, yet it was in the nation's best interest to have a much more acceptable looking kid lip sync?
"The audience will understand that the girl should have good looks and a good grasp of the song and look good on screen," said Chen Qigang the ceremony's Chief Music Director. I would ask what parent would exploit her child in such a way, but I forget that we're talking about a communist country. I just can not image..... I'm glad you posted this. I was appalled when I read this story yesterday. It's such a sad state when we see how vain humankind can really be.
